Who we are

SelfEnabler is owned by Tutelage Education Services Pvt Ltd and Talent4Assure Assessment Services Pvt Ltd. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SelfEnabler and those companies, and "you" means the person using SelfEnabler or the parent or guardian who accepts these terms for a child.

By creating an account or using SelfEnabler, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Eligibility and accounts

  • SelfEnabler is for learners in Classes 6 to 12, learners preparing for competitive exams, and the parents or guardians of learners under 18.
  • A parent or guardian creates the account for a learner under 18, accepts these terms for the child, and is responsible for the child's use of SelfEnabler.
  • Give true and complete details, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

The service

SelfEnabler offers lessons, checks and personalised notes for a learner's class and board, AI Guru to explain topics from approved lesson material, a view for parents, and, where offered, 3AM Friend one-to-one tutors.

What each package includes is shown on the packages page when you buy. We may improve or change features over time. If a change takes away something central to a package you have paid for, we will tell you.

Acceptable use

Use SelfEnabler only for learning. Do not:

  • share your account, or let someone else use it;
  • copy, publish or sell lessons, questions or other content from SelfEnabler;
  • try to get into another person's account or into our systems, or to change marks;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on SelfEnabler;
  • post or send anything abusive, unlawful or harmful, or anything that puts a child at risk;
  • pretend to be someone else, or give a false relationship to a child.

Content and intellectual property

The lessons, questions, notes, software, design and brand of SelfEnabler belong to us or to those who license them to us.

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own or your child's learning while your account is active. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to them.

Payments and packages

Prices, what each package includes and how long it lasts are shown on the packages page and at checkout. The terms of the package you buy form part of these terms.

Refunds follow our refund policy and the terms of the package you bought.

3AM Friend tutors

  • 3AM Friend tutors are checked and approved by the institute that manages them before they can teach: identity and KYC, qualifications, a background or police check, a sample teaching video, and a signed child-safety (POCSO) declaration.
  • Sessions happen in a private room that only the learner and the tutor can enter.
  • Help is there only when a vetted tutor is online. If no one is, the learner is told so.
  • Sessions are paid from a wallet. Demo sessions are free, and a cancelled session is refunded to the wallet.
  • These checks reduce risk; they are not a guarantee. If anything about a session worries you, tell us at once through our contact page.

What we do not promise

We do not promise particular marks or results. How far a learner gets depends on many things, including the time and effort they put in.

AI Guru answers from approved lesson material and is told to say when it does not know, but like any AI it can make mistakes. It does not replace a teacher, and important answers should be checked.

We work to keep SelfEnabler available, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance. When something cannot be done, we say so.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of SelfEnabler. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You may close your account at any time by writing to us through our contact page.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts a child at risk, or is used unlawfully. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why.

When an account closes, we handle its personal data as our privacy policy says.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be heard by the competent courts in India named in the final version of these terms.

We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and tell account holders of any important change before it applies.
